Where to retire early
Learn about the best state for an early retirement according to AOL. By the way, "early" retirement according to this AOL post is 55-64 years old.
If you are an early retiree, it seems that you should pack for Kentucky. The relaxed state taxes on the income from 401(k) or IRA and the low cost of living allow for the best value during your permanent time off.
Among the other states listed on AOL, I liked New Mexico, since "health insurance rates for seniors are limited to three times the rates for 20-year-olds".
